ACLS Class - Austin, TX

ACLS Initial Hybrid Course Registration

Course: ACLS Initial Class Hybrid Learning: this course is designed for the student who has never taken an ACLS course or has an expired card

Course Length: 4-5 hours online "Heartcode" coursework and 1 hour in-person skills session this will be practice with Adult BLS, AED, bag mask valve use, oral/nasal airways, and megacode.  You will be expected to recognize cardiac rhythms and know medication treatment/interventions for each one.

ACLS Renewal Hybrid Course Registration

Course: ACLS Renewal Class Hybrid Learning this course is designed for people with an unexpired card seeking renewal
Course Length: 4-5 hours online "Heartcode" coursework and 1 hour in-person skills session this will be practice with Adult BLS, AED, bag mask valve use, oral/nasal airways, and megacode.  You will be expected to recognize cardiac rhythms and know medication treatment/interventions for each one.

ACLS Skills Course Registration

Course: ACLS Skills Check off this course is designed for students who have already purchased the Heartcode ACLS from AHA on their own and are looking to get a check off
Course Length: 1 hour this will be practice with Adult BLS, AED, bag-mask valve use, oral/nasal airways, and megacode.  You will be expected to recognize cardiac rhythms and know medication treatment/interventions for each one.

ACLS In-Person Course

Course: ACLS Renewal Class In-Person (limited class availability due to COVID)
Course Length: 4-5 hours

Certification: American Heart Association. You will receive your card within one business day of the class.  American Heart Association cards are valid for 2 years.

Description: The ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

Mandatory Precourse Test
If you are attending an in-person renewal or initial course you must complete the mandatory precourse self-assessment and precoursework.  You do not need to do this portion if you did the Heartcode ACLS.  You must email the certificate of completion before the class to secure your spot.  Must access this on a computer or tablet, not a mobile device. Please bring your current ACLS manual e-book or ACLS manual print book American Heart Association requires students to every in-person class, not required for Heartcode.

$25 cancellation fee applies if you cancel your appointment or don't show up to your appointment. To reschedule an appointment, please contact us.
