Host your own CPR party in Austin, TX
You may be wondering what a CPR party is? I'm sure you have heard of Tupperware parties, Mary Kay parties, and Pampered Chef parties. A CPR party can be hosted in your own living room, the host can provide food and drink we want this to be a fun experience. Invite your friends or family to your home or desired location and we will arrive with all the equipment, knowledge, and other materials needed to give the entire group the knowledge they will need to save lives in the event of an emergency.
The course offered is a one-hour CPR short program designed to give parents and caregivers a general idea of what to do before the emergency response team arrives. This is not a certification program. If you desire to get certification after attending a class we can enroll you in a course to get your certification. Even though it is not a certification course, it still is valuable information.
As summer approaches in Austin, TX and many of us have pools in our backyards, frequent Barton Springs, and are going to be on the lake. Drowning the most common cause of death between the ages of 1 to 14 years old according to the CDC.
Young kids are especially at risk because they're curious, fast, and attracted to water but are not yet able to understand how dangerous it is. It only takes a second for a child to drown they do not go down flailing and screaming like in the movie "Jaws." They sink silently oftentimes without the parents even knowing. This is often even seen when there is a lifeguard present.
The good news is that a few safety precautions taught in our course can prevent most drownings. If your child is the victim of a near-drowning, we will go over a fast-action rescue plan that can prevent a tragedy.
