What is BLS Skills Check-off?

The BLS Skills Check-off is a crucial part of the American Heart Association's BLS certification process. How to Prepare for Your BLS Skills Check-off Session

Before attending the BLS Skills Check-off session, you must complete the online portion of the Heartcode BLS. This online course must be purchased separately thru the AHA and it covers essential topics such as adult, child, and infant CPR, use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and relief of choking. After completing the online course, you will receive a certificate that you need to bring to your skills check-off session.

What are the BLS skills?

During the BLS Skills Check-off session, you will be asked to demonstrate various CPR skills. These include chest compressions, rescue breaths, and use of an AED. Our instructors will guide you through each step, providing feedback and assistance as needed. This session usually lasts about an hour. Upon successful completion of the session, you will receive your BLS certification card via email thru the AHA the same day
