About the ACLS Express Course

The Express course is designed for busy healthcare providers who want to get in and out fast. We take care of everything — the price includes the HeartCode ACLS online module, which you complete on your own time at your own pace. Then you come in for a focused in-person skills session only. No written exam in person — just do your skills and you're done. Because we handle the HeartCode for you, this course costs a little more, but it's the fastest path to your AHA ACLS card.

What's the difference between ACLS and ACLS Express?

Both include online pre-coursework and lead to the same AHA ACLS certification. The difference is the in-person experience. The ACLS ($155) is a full instructor-led classroom session — your instructor covers content, written exam, and skills all together. Great if you want more hands-on instructor time. The ACLS Express ($265) includes HeartCode and is designed for busy providers — you come in for a short skills session only with no written exam in person. In and out fast.

I need BLS or PALS too — can I book those together?

Can I take this course if my card is expired or I've never taken ACLS before?

Yes — both courses are open to initial certifications, expired cards, and renewals. No restrictions.

Do I need a current BLS card?

Yes. A current BLS certification is a prerequisite for ACLS. If yours is expired or about to expire, check out our BLS certification page — or book the BLS + ACLS bundle and take care of both in one visit.

What does the megacode involve?

The megacode is a simulation where you act as team leader and respond to a cardiac emergency scenario. Your instructor walks you through practice runs before evaluation. Most students find it much more manageable than expected — we're here to help you pass.

When will I receive my AHA ACLS card?

Your AHA ACLS Provider card is emailed the same day you complete your class. Valid for 2 years.

Do you offer group or on-site ACLS training?

Yes — for groups of 6 or more we offer reduced per-person pricing and can come to your location throughout Austin and all surrounding areas. Contact us for a quote.
