Preparing for Your BLS Certification Course

Before attending the in-person session of our BLS certification course, you must complete the online portion. The online module, called "Heartcode BLS," can be completed at your own pace. It utilizes a personalized computer adaptive model based on your confidence level in each topic. The module includes direct learning topics, activities, and questions.

There is no written exam, only a skills testing portion during the in-person session. For more FAQs on Heartcode. This covers essential topics such as adult, child, and infant CPR, use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and relief of choking. After completing the online course, you will receive a certificate that you need to bring to your hands-on session. This takes 30 mins to 1 hour to complete online.

During the in-person session of our BLS certification course, you will demonstrate various CPR skills, including chest compressions, rescue breaths, and use of an AED. Our instructors will guide you through each step, providing feedback and assistance as needed.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive your BLS certification card via email the same day from the American Heart Association.  This session lasts for about an hour.
