The ACLS Certification course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

 

ACLS Online Course for Initial & Renewal Certifications

Targeted for initial, renewal, and expired certifications.  This option is perfect for busy students who would like to take most of the course/test at home.  This option only requires an in-person skills check-off to get certified.

Course Length: 4-5 hours online ACLS Heartcode coursework is included in the price and 1-1.5 hour in-person skills session focusing on Adult BLS, AED, bag mask valve use, oral/nasal airways, and megacode.  You will be expected to recognize cardiac rhythms and know medication treatment/interventions for each one.

Certification: American Heart Association card issued via email the same business day of the class.  American Heart Association cards are valid for 2 years.

ACLS Renewal Classroom Course

Mandatory Precourse Test
If you are attending an in-person renewal course you must complete the mandatory precourse self-assessment and precoursework.

Course Length: 3-4 hours online pre-coursework precourse test and 2-2.5 hour in-person skills session this will be practice with Adult BLS, AED, bag mask valve use, oral/nasal airways, and megacode.  You will be expected to recognize cardiac rhythms and know medication treatment/interventions for each one. Requires in-person examination.

Certification: American Heart Association card issued via email the same business day of the class.  American Heart Association cards are valid for 2 years.

ACLS Skills Check Off

This is designed for students who have already purchased the Heartcode ACLS from AHA on their own and are looking to get a hands-on portion check off

Course Length: 1-1.5 hours will be focused on practice with Adult BLS, AED, bag-mask valve use, oral/nasal airways, and megacode.  The megacode is a simulation to see how each student would respond in a code.  In order to pass you will be team leader and demonstrate effective team dynamics.  You will be able to recognize cardiac arthymias and know medication treatment/interventions for each one.

Certification: American Heart Association card issued via email the same business day of the class.  American Heart Association cards are valid for 2 years.
