Online BLS Renewal

There are a couple of different options for getting your BLS certification renewed. Our most popular option is the BLS online renewal with skills check-off. This option allows the student to do the majority of the coursework through an online module at home and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. This online module is called the HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education by showing videos and asking the student questions as they go along the material. You will be able to access the Provider Manual from within the course so it is optional to purchase the hard copy of the book. The online coursework takes about 30 mins to an hour at home and the in-person skills check-off takes about 30 mins-1 hour in person. The good news is that there in no written exam with this option. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor at our convenient office in East Austin, TX.
